4 ha of the estate’s 10 ha were renovated in 2001. Only the best plots of land were chosen, particularly those with fertile soil and ample sun-exposure. The estate’s philosophy is to focus on 100% tuscany grape production. In this way, Alessandro capitalises on the unique beauty and quality of Siena’s hills to manage the impact of globalisation and burgeoning competition. Italy is blessed with the great advantage of producing the highest number of grapes varieties in the world, with over 350 native ones.
