Wine Experience

Inside the most ancient tower in the castle, we have created "Cantinetta di Monteriggioni", our Wine Shop and Tasting Laboratory

The Griccioli have been producing wine for centuries and they have created their own wine tasting laboratory in an ancient place in their family home, facing the piazza between the well and the church.
We are happy to host you for an unforgettable Tuscan experience and offer a tasting of our family produced wines.

Furnished with heirloom paintings and antiques, modern bathroom and, above all, magnificent views from each window that let in the marvelous sunset light.

Rooms and Wine offers seven different bedrooms. 4 double, 2 triple and 1 suite. Choose the most suitable for you! On the second floor, the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning but remain cool even in summer thanks to the thick eighteenth-century walls. On the third and last the rooms have been equipped with air conditioning.

I Giardini

This is a big room! In addition to the double bed, there is a third bed but, given the size, a fourth can be added as needed. The window frames the towers, the gardens between the castle walls and the hills offering the spectacle of the sun setting in that direction at sunset.

Il Chianti

This room with a cozy four-poster bed, overlooks the square and offers, given its height, a view of the walkway of the walls and the main access door to the village as well as the incomparable spectacle of the Chianti vineyards. The same view can be enjoyed from the bathroom window while taking a shower, so as not to miss a minute of the beauty of the surroundings

SUITE

L'Attico

Just look at the photos to understand that this is a very special room. With three windows, a four-poster bed, family furnishings from their ancestors and exotic paintings purchased during stays abroad. The mirror of what Marcello and Stefano Griccioli are. Linked to the past, history and tradition but permeated by distant cultures that they have had the good fortune to know and appreciate.
